Effective September 3, 2025
A Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery will no longer be accepting new patients with UnitedHealthcare insurance plans.
We will, however, continue to care for our established patients who are currently covered by UnitedHealthcare until our network participation officially terminates on May 26, 2026.
Under Florida law (F.S. ยง 641.3154), patients who are in their second or third trimester of pregnancy and patients who are undergoing treatment for chronic or acute medical conditions may be eligible for continuation of care for a specified period even after a provider is no longer participating in the network.
If you are an established patient with UnitedHealthcare, your care with us will not be interrupted through the end of our participation. After termination, you may have continuation-of-care rights under Florida law.
If you are a new patient wishing to join our practice, please speak with our front desk about the alternative insurance plans we accept, or our self-pay options.
